How We Work

We charge a minimum of 1 hour on hourly rate work, then bill in 15-minute increments thereafter.

Payment is due in full upon receipt of the invoice, by credit or debit card – our secure chip & PIN machines make this simple.

Commercial boiler installations and gas safety certificates are charged at our commercial and gas hourly rates.

All materials are charged at trade prices plus a 35% markup, subject to VAT or the RRP, whichever is lower.

Material collection for non-van stock items is limited to a maximum of 45 minutes per job.

You’ll receive a digital invoice (or a hard copy on request) detailing the work carried out, with a full breakdown of labour and materials.

We do not charge a surcharge for credit card payments.
Frequently asked questions
I have a dripping tap – will I be charged if it can’t be fixed on the first visit?
We carefully stock our vans to resolve most jobs on the first visit. If the necessary parts aren’t available locally, we’ll diagnose the issue and provide a quote for the required repair. We can also give an estimate from photos and order parts in advance to complete the work efficiently.
My boiler is 15 years old – will I be charged for a quote to replace it?
No. Andy or James will provide a free, no-obligation quote for boiler replacement. All quotes follow best practices, manufacturer requirements, and building regulations to ensure your home is compliant. You can also use our online boiler quoting tool to get started before arranging a visit.
